Uh oh. I may have broken something. My long box shows I have over 1,300 books, but the leader board shows me stuck on 1273. Nevermind. It seems to have corrected itself.
Yes, that's a known bug.
The Mini-Profile data is always correct. Basically, if you wait too long before clicking on a book the leaderboard stores 'cache' data rather than 'real time' data and it can cause a discrepancy between the Mini-Profile data and the leaderboard. The solution corrects itself with time after you click on a new book. The coder plans to implement a timer in the future to prevent this problem from happening.
Here are the details from my conversation with the coder in the support forum.
To anyone watching this thread, here is the reply I got back:
More than likely someone clicked a prize on a cached page which would had have old key data loaded. Since data still ended up in the key, then that is likely the cause.
As this seems to be the most probable cause, it has been suggested that I add a timer on the page when a prize is present. When the timer reaches 0, the prize will disappear. While this may not totally eliminate the issue, it should cut down on the issue occurring.
The next month for me is going to be very hectic. My schedule eases up at the beginning of September, where I can start giving a lot more attention to plugin issues. In the interim, what should help is if forum owners instruct their members that, when they are on a page with a prize, click the image right away - don't just sit on that page, open another tab, then come back and click it later. While the member's personal count will be accurate, the old data that's present for the leaderboard data can get severely messed up. Those whose counts do not match - have that member find a prize and click on it right away. The leaderboard should eventually correct itself - as long as people are getting the prize as soon as possible.
A note about the timer when I can get it added - it will be hard-coded, so please do not ask for an option to adjust it. The reason, if set to too high, this issue will most likely remain. Therefore, there will be no option to adjust the timer's length.
Stupid Team Up: I love bacon as much as I hate Tampa Bay!

steveinthecity: Btw, the chard was fine. Very light taste, not bitter at all. Had it mixed with spinach and romaine to use as “greens” for salads.

steveinthecity: They probably have more than one. Did they make any albums after Moving Pictures?

steveinthecity: oh, there was “Roll The Bones”? I honestly cannot recall them right now.

Stupid Team Up: They did make albums after Moving Pictures because that's when I was old enough to go see them. I remember Fastway opened one of the shows.... Kinda weird choice

Stupid Team Up: I saw them on Grace Under Pressure and Power Windows

steveinthecity: All those titles ring a bell, now. I heard “Permanent Waves” album on radio, and then bought my first Rush album, which was actually the 3-disc set “Archives”. I never did see a live show. I only know Fastway from their 1st album.

Stupid Team Up: The fake crowd noise is the worst... I can barely hear the announcers.

steveinthecity: I’m not getting Tampa Bay, it’s St. Louis vs 49ers. +1 on crowd noise. I forgot there was no crowd at first, then wondering why the announcers are talking so loud.

steveinthecity: Ugghh...forgot. Cardinals are Arizona, not St. Louis.
