If so, how does their collection compare to yours?

My younger brother is my only relative who likes/collects comics, but he lost his to Hurricane Katrina. Other younger relatives only care for the games and animated or MCU/DC films.

Did your younger brother have a large collection? So sad to hear he lost his collection in the hurricane. I have always wondered how many people have lost collections to natural disasters.

Somewhere around 7,000 iirc.

If so, how does their collection compare to yours? My daughter has a grand total of three comic books (Frozen: Reunion Road #1-3). I'm hoping to introduce her to more over the years but right now, we'll stick with the stuff for kids.
To answer your question... I have 100s of drekky DC books, so I guess they're evenly matched in terms of value

My son has a small collection of about 300 books. He buys books mainly for the cover art.

He was really into Bedlam and then started picking up covers that are no longer considered politically correct. An example is Nam #1.

If he likes to read, there's a Doctoral Candidacy Dissertation "Comics & Conflict: War & Patriotically themed covers ....." that's got all sort of analysis. It's a long read, 300+ pages. I'm glad there are people writing such in-depth studies and opinions, as I enjoy reading this sort of stuff about the hobby(preferably shorter in length). I also like when Archie makes dates with two girls on the same night and screws up both dates, so go figure. Comics and Conflict
