I've always looked at the cover of Batman #4 and thought that was a spotlight of sorts. If the background had been some shade of blue/grey/black I'd have thought it was the moon. The Moon was always drawn as an unrealistic, almost perfect, white (or yellow) circle.
I love that Adventure #428 cover. Such a great non-Batman Batman cover
#428 is a very cool cover. In fact I think that series has a great run of covers for a few years until the Aquaman "rides a dolphin" cover. Not meant as a knock on Jim Aparo, but the "vibe" of those covers changed for me. I never cared for the Aquaman logo(s) for that matter.

There's a big difference between the Spectre and Aquaman covers.

Midge looks like she does Meth. Midge is probably wacked on whatever P.E.D.'s she ganks from Moose's gym bag. Betty knows how to keep it cool, though.

22 July 2019 National Pi Approximation Day Walt Disney's Comics & Stories #314OK. I know it's not really "Pi", but it's issue #314 and there's a cake on the cover. I think a cake is approximately pie. Sort of in the same dessert family.

DCM has titles like Pep, Wilbur, Katy Keene, etc., but not the Archie flagship title. I haven't read much from the "hero" genre from the Golden Age outside of Superman and some of the DC reprint collections, but I like what I've seen from the early MLJ comics. I'm not familiar with Sham Comics. I'd consider ordering Sham 1 & 2 although I cringe at paying $13.99 for just two books. The Ogre books look kind of cool, but 2 of the 3 are sold out. Anything you can recommend?
