I wonder how rare it really is. I have a "mint" set myself that my wife bought for me like 15 years ago.

These are pretty neat. I don't remember seeing these cards before.

I think they're really cool. If this was a brand new item, I could easily see myself buying a set for $5-10. So, on first pass, ~$25 for the original 1984 set doesn't seem incredible. But I'm curious about the extant sets as well. I think my only concern is how easy it would be to counterfeit something like this.

I placed a best offer for one on Ebay but the they weren't in the best condition. I wouldn't pay more that $20 either, unless it was the uncut sheet.

Those are really cool. I'd love to get a set and then buy a bunch of multi-picture frames and hang them all over the house.

The prices are higher than expected, but I'm really out of the loop when it comes to trading cards. I saw a few sellers have "pre-order" in the description, and one person has "Not yet in hand. Ships within one business day of arrival".
I'm also curious how many of these are out there.

My forum software is telling me that this old thread is getting lots of attention over the last few days. Obviously trading cards are hot right now.
