I don’t like his math. Seems like a great deal of work/time will be needed to break even. He could probably get $25-30 each for the black bins, so there’s that.

This is a nice collection purchase. Some keys. Fun to watch. That guy has a face/look for radio. Remember that episode of Frasier where he tried to get hired at KACL?

This is a fun video. Great books...a little beat up and no bags and boards...but still a great set of books. Ask price was $500, he gave him $1,000. You can tell the buyer doesn't know the keys by the way he works through the collection. He's also not very careful.

He's from Lagrangeville, NY and he drove deep into CT to buy part of this collection. I saw a sign for Southbury and Kettletown State Park, if anyone knows where that is. I continue to be bothered by the way people (even seasoned collectors) bend comics when they are leafing through boxes.

Southbury is not far north of Bridgeport and New Haven. It would take me like an hour and a half to get there and I live in CT

Watching the video reminded me I don’t have a Spawn #9. Are people still talking about that one?

Watching the video reminded me I don’t have a Spawn #9. Are people still talking about that one? I dunno, she's a Marvel character now so maybe movie hype? And I think I have every comic he showed in that first short box

Lots of Spawn #9’s on eBay. 9.2 - 9.4 can be had for $50 or less. I’d rather spend $50 on a bunch of Thor’s.

Shiiit, I've got a couple of those around here, but they're slightly inaccessible. Half my collection is stored away. If I can get my hands on one I'll let you know.

There are tons of copies of there. I bought a large lot gem an ebay seller a few years back and they had multiple lots for sale. They sell okay if price d under $10.
