What is it about CBCS that attracts the noobiest Noobs ever? "So many times I see a beautiful cover or amazing inner page and realize that the color choices were at least as important as the drawings, maybe even more important. I believe the colorists are called inkers in the industry?"

It's the last line that kills me He must've been shocked when he found out colorists are called colorists.

So, in all the years I've been posting on the CGC forum, I've never had so much as a warning. Never. No moderation of any sort whatsoever. I've always followed their rules, no matter how silly. I just received this: It specifies the thread, "Threads Getting Locked." linkI only made one post in that thread, and it's still there. link I made a copy of it: None of the rest of their moderation works at all, as the post was not removed as specified, it was not linked to the top of the message as specified, and it's not in "Your Posts Removed by Moderators." Can you believe this BS? Evidently this Mod doesn't realize that the LTPC game was voluntarily deleted by it's thread creator (Andy). It was not deleted by CGC moderation, nor has talking about it ever been a violation of the rules. Whatever.

UpdateSo this now appears at the bottom of that thread. When I click on it, it give me this. And when I click on the thread link at the top, it now brings me to my post. So, evidently, this mod believes that mentioning the LTPC Game, or even referencing it tangentially without naming it (as I did), is a violation of CGC forum posting rules.

You should challenge it.
Do what I would do when you are given a point, repeat the post, explain it further, publicly tag the mod who gave you the point.
Is Arch even alive btw?

Furthermore...
You cannot reference the LTPC game...
BUT...
Call out the graders and say that one of them has to be retrained. That can stay.

I’m sorry that happened. pretty ridiculous getting penalized for referencing something that we’re apparently not allowed to reference, but we don’t know what it is we’re not not allowed... I guess they want us to just post examples of their product to encourage others to use the service, but I’d say the frivolous or goofy stuff that gets posted is every bit a large part of what strengthens the “community” aspect of the boards, and by extension the CGC brand. * sigh *

I won't fight it, it's not worth my time.
Much like CGC's grading, their forum rules are secret and inconsistent.

Looks like they removed every single one of my posts. So what's the takeaway? Don't discuss moderation actions in the Moderation Action Discussion Thread? Right...ok...yeah...that makes total sense.

Sean Fingh’s post was pretty funny and makes a good point to boot. What the heck is going on over there?
