I recommend these... ...all still in print and available in Trade Paperback format and if you purchase from instocktrades.com you get a pretty sweet discount. The Killing Joke is a Hardcover edition but it is a thin book and reasonably priced.

If Morrison's JLA run had had a good artist instead of Howard Porter it would've been legendary. |
