Much loved nostalgic toys from your youth. Toys you always wanted but never got. Today's toys that you'd play with, even if you're technically too old. Toys that are coming in the near future. Anything...nothin' but toys, toys, toys!

Never had any of these, but I'd play with everything on this page right now if I could.

I don't see kids making things anymore. Legos don't count. Here's an example of a kit I made when I was about 10. You can still buy these today from the same manufacturer. I had this exact model. Mostly just balsa wood, tissue paper, glue, and dope sealant/paint. The finished model could be flown with either a rubber band powered propeller or a gas engine. Guillow’s Series 400 P40 Warhawk

Had the Pirates of the Carribean ones that used a rubber band to create "snap action".

I made one of these Spitfires as a kid. That's just some random pic off the 'net. Mine went in the bin years ago.

I actually had all of the mego dolls pictured except for Wonder Woman. In addition to the Bat Cave, Batmobile, Joker van I also had the Bat Copter and Bat cycle.

Any Batman toy I had as a kid is long gone.
I bought this for my daughter 4 years ago when she was 2 and she still plays with it today. We got some extra cars to go with it:-
Batman Joker Robin Batgirl Penguin Superman Green Lantern Wonder Woman
She could recognise Green Lantern at the age of 2 and is still the only kid around here who knows who he is.

I remember back in Junior High School, I checked out a book from the library that had plans for various airplanes that you could trace onto cardboard and then cut out the various parts of the airplane to assemble a plane similar to the one you posted. I've been searching for that book for years but still haven't found anything like it.

We need some pages from the Sears Holiday "Wish Book" 60's - mid 80's. Not sure if that got traction outside the States, but it was huge here. Those Mego's were awesome. Who knew how cool those'd be to the future "us"?
Just saw this from Ditch: "if you're technically too old". Nah, you might get weird looks, but the toys were better when they could be appreciated I think. Those 70's parents wouldn't have been drinking, doping, and swinging so much if they could just chill with all those amazing toys available for a few bucks. Adam-12. Planet Of the Apes. CW McCall!
