So I had this dream last night. I was chatting with someone who was talking about a group of people, and they made the comment that "the cryptodynamics were all wrong for them." In the dream I understood the word cryptodynamics to mean 'optics.' When I awakened I lay there and thought, "WTF are cryptodynamics?"  Now I was intrigued because I thought my mind was creating new words for itself...in dreams. And since the root words of crypto and dynamic don't really translate into the meaning of optics, except that one is hidden the the other is visible, I thought that was pretty weird. I thought it might mean 'hidden force' or something. So I look up cryptodynamics in the dictionary (physical copy), and it's not there. Then I go surfing around on the internet and find this obscure reference. cryptodynamic - having secret or hidden power  So now I'm wondering if I heard this obscure reference somewhere and stored it where only a dream could find it, or did I create the word and it just happened to have meaning. If the former, is it possible my dream was layered; meaning that the person I was talking to actually meant hidden powers, but I misinterpreted it as optics... in my own dream? If so, that's some next level, scary-ass  .  |

However, I think the most likely scenario is someone comes into your room at night while you are sleeping and whispers stuff in your ear. |

I am in the camp that you read it somewhere or heard it used. Have you ever read anything by Jeremy Bentham? It is also a well known phrase in the War on Terrorism crowd, like teh National Institute for the Prevention of Terrorisms (Harvard and the John F. Kennedy School), and computer security circles.
How about the Tiny heroes stuff? It is used a lot there, also. I have also recently seen it used (within the last year) in reference to cyber security.
If not, then you are just making stuff up and you are ahead of your time.... or......you are one of them up there and forgot you are because you were just activated, and........
