When I had my Batman subscription running I used to get both the regular and variant cover. Imagine my surprise when I found out there was always more than one variant and the regular/variant duo I was getting was in fact just a thinly disguised Cover A/Cover B combo. I miss the day only a few years ago when Archie variants consisted of just two options. When Archie #1 was rebooted after 666 issues it had 22-23 covers and the vast majority I couldn't find locally, I'd have to find them online at "collectors" prices. Anything resembling ocd stopped at that point. Officially. It sucks to collect a favorite title and know covers exist that I've never seen. |
