Hey gang.( How do you 'ping' members, like when you go @siggy,Ditch across the street?) I took a pretty good look, and while doing so I caught a whiff of a memory of myself gifting those records with some comics(Marvel bronze horror reprint readers) to a younger guy I know that was getting into rockabilly and funny books.I think they are gone.Pretty common here though, and usually about a fin each.I'll replace them now.I DID find the photo album, and it's not exactly as I remember it.It's just the one volume,1956...With the beat to hell record still inside.Yep,found the signature alright!Never thought to look at who the artist was. Most of you know I am pretty slow at getting pics up,but it will be done(Star Wars record, remember Ditch?) At first I was a tad miffed at myself, but that changed with a good feeling of sharing, and now it's a reason to call and see how the kid is doing.I don't remember a lot of stuff I did while I was heavily self medicating, sometimes it comes to me at odd moments like today.I'm glad it did or the whole house would have been turned out looking! @name, and name is the one in parenthesis, not the changeable forum name.

Looking forward to listening to this. He had fun in Dallas, but surprisingly made less money than he did in Eugene

Eugene is deep in the midwest; there are infinitely fewer comic book shops and comic cons in the modwest than the west coast. Especially in a big city like Dallas.

We finally got around to getting a copy of Argo last weekend. I think I'll get Mike to sign the sleeve

It was a good panel, but Greg sat too far from the mic, and people in the back had a hard time hearing him (I was in the front). I feel I need to reach out to someone involved with the con, because someone screwed up big time. Mike was invited as a Special Guest because, as stated, he was at the first SDCC. Jackie Estrada sends him books every year to vote on for the Eisner Awards. However, someone forgot to invite Mike to the Awards, and he was never given an itinerary for his panels- We had to figure it out for ourselves. He was pretty ticked off, and said he'll not likely return.

I hope you can figure out what went wrong and how to fix it.

When I asked his Guest Relations Agent to look into it, he found that it was completely booked. If 2017 was any indication, the Special Guests and their companions are seated together. I wonder who they put in our seats.

Cool pics, Siggy. Did Mike steal your beard...? No, I had a week's worth of growth in the 3rd pic, but have returned to work since and had to shave it. All I'm allowed (in my dept.) is a ridiculously tight mustache and a soul patch I don't want a mustache so I guess I'm patching my soul.

It's a vertical Hitler mustache on the chin- Basically a goatee with issues.
