OMG...WHY! DIGITAL is soooo cool! It is like an encyclopedia, reference data at your whim! 1. Why do I need encyclopedia/reference data? I'm not writing reviews 2. Comics.org has all the reference data I need. Any other info I need is in my brain from reading comics for 45 years. 3. My Want List is so small that any comic I haven't read that I may want to has been reprinted in cheap comic book form. 4. My only problem would be new weekly comics. If they ever go 100% digital then I'll go back issues only. But the only books I really need are expensive so I'd probably end up buying only 1 or 2 comics a year. And that's not even getting into the digital platform itself

cd's? I feel we have strayed onto an entirely different topic. You've entered the "born in the 60s" zone

Oh c'mon Boogie, I bet you never even looked at a digital comic book?? Once you have you would be hooked! Heck, I love both physical copies and digital.

Me too, I have 300 cds Newb You're probably pickier than I am I think so but the fact that we still buy CDs to this day puts us in the "get off my lawn" club.

I have looked at digital comics, but it was a long time ago, maybe a decade.. I assume the readers are better now. But hooked? There's nothing to hook me. You'd have a better chance of convincing variant cover collectors to go digital than me

The only reason I would own a digital comic is if I travel a lot and want to read a classic. Otherwise I'm too addicted to the look, feel, and sometimes smell of a comic in my hand. I don't think I could place the word "collect" with something that can be recreated in an "instant", yet cannot be differentiated from one created last year. I'm not crazy about digital either. To give an example using Archie comics, they were using the iVerse digital platform five or so years back, then switched to Comixology. Everyone that had comics saved through iVerse had them vanish and would have to start over. I don't want to have to save individual images so I don't lose stuff. I've got some comics saved as pdf's, but then there's the whole " organizing" aspect which is annoying. Something like Marvel Unlimited is good, but what happens if Marvel were to pull the plug on that program?

Not being a very tech savvy individual, so losing the digital comics is a good possibility, and to be honest I really don't feel like learning all the tricks to protect something literally intangible. I'm certainly not saying they're trash or nonsense, and have no place in the hobby, but they're just not my cup of tea. Plus I enjoy 'interacting' with my comics. Once I even had a dream that, much like the toys in Toy Story, the comics 'came alive' while waiting for me to pay them a visit. I can't let them down.

I still buy music cd's once in awhile, but it has to be something I really want. And sometimes you've just got to buy the cd, since the design is so unique, like a Tool cd.

I like the idea of being able to have access to comic collections wherever I go... Can't do that by lugging around long boxes. Reading digital comics does not require any tech knowledge. I don't care for Comixology myself because you really do not own anything, basically renting and no control or organization, but would recommend torrent sites because once downloaded you have the files and do not need internet to view them. I understand the old school guys that are strictly into physical copies only, but I really like both formats...and YOU should too... Because I say so!😁

I really appreciate that, Bryan But I'm not very digital, to be honest. I still buy cd's, and I don't even stream +1. The only time I download is if it's not available as a CD.
