Since I now have an extra Super Key, I decided to bring back the game Battle Threads. I'll be installing and testing it today. If you remember how to play, just go for it. Otherwise, I'll eventually be adding instructions. This game always requires some fine-tuning; so if you have any issues or requests, please post them in this thread. |

Looks like I was able to successfully import the old data from the last time this game was active.
If you click on your profile, you'll be able to see your old stats. It looks like this...
Creature Hunt Stats
Current HP: 177
Successful Attacks: 103
Retreats: 23
Damage Dealt: 7526
Damage Received: 5758
Total Kills: 5

I'm not sure why I don't understand this game. Do I just type "attack" to attack? Are there other types of commands?

Since I uploaded the old data file, anyone who played last time will have 200 max hit points.
New players will have 500 max hit points.
I've adjusted Bats and myself to 500. If anyone wants the adjustment, just let me know in this thread and I'll do it when I get a chance.

If anyone wants the adjustment, just let me know in this thread and I'll do it when I get a chance. Just tested this and it doesn't work.  So I've changed the global settings for 'everyone' to 200 max hit points. Some players like Fiddy will have 500 max hit points. I'm debating reloading the entire game to keep everyone consistent, but I don't think it really matters. |

I raised the Recovery Rate (%) from 10% to 20%. We'll see how that 'feels.' |

Dangit. I found a bug. After testing, it appears to be related to the old member data that was uploaded. Always something...  Anyway, feel free to keep playing, but sometime this weekend I'm going to have to reinstall the game without the old member data. Hopefully, this will fix the problem. The side-effect of this fix will be the loss of the old data...in other words, everyone will start from zero. QuestionDo you guys prefer 200 or 500 max/starting points? Which feels better? |
