Wow that's bull . I would be pissed if that were my books, but I'm a little confused here. Why are there so many page shavings at the bottom of the inner well? The slab was graded with off-white pages but the book looks like it had brittle pages based on the pictures of the inner well. Did the P.O. shave off pages of the book when they sliced the inner well?

Wow, that just sucks for both the buyer and the seller. Even with the additional damage, it probably didn't drop the grade down since it was already a low grade copy. I'd still be pissed if that were my book.

This sounds more like a malicious act, like someone in customs was abusing their inspection powers.
