Description
Marked "MADE IN USA" The letter "U" with an arrow through it for Uncas manufacturing.
Size - resting at 7 (adjustable)
Width = 1/2"
This ring has never been worn and is exactly as it was originally made. The one and only owner of this ring kept everything meticulously stored in boxes.
There is no wear to the silver plate and all of the enameling is intact. The band has never been adjusted. This is the first design bearing the "ACTION COMICS" inscription that was made prior to the "MEMBER" ring. This ring is the rarest of all comic collectibles and is the best known example. There are less than 10 known, making it one of the rarest Superman items. Records show these selling for over $10,000 with lots of wear. One just sold in near mint condition today (3-15-18) through Hakes for over $15,000 with the buyers premium. There is no record of a mint example like this one selling. Feel free to make us an offer. This will make a nice prize to someone's collection.
