LOVE DEATH + ROBOTSCaught 3 episodes last night...easily the best thing on TV right now...I highly recommend it. 
Sex EducationHow is it possible that Gillian Anderson is hotter now in her 50s than she was in her 20s? Bats : How is her British accent to you? Seems a little off to me.

She's not doing her "usual" British accent which she's obviously more comfortable with. This one is the modern British "instructional video" accent. Obviously been working with too many young actors in London's West End. |

I saw Gillian Anderson on Top Gear and for the first time watching that program I had a hard on that wasn't for the cars

I'm now halfway through S3 of Star Trek TOS. I'd forgotten how bad some of those episodes were. Like The Empath, for instance. That has to be one of the worst episodes of the entire series. And Plato's Stepchildren where Kirk and Spock are forced to dance (among other things). Terrible. There are some great episodes but not enough.
S2 was a bit Prime Directive heavy, with way too many "Earth parallels", but at least the story lines were good. |

TOS started going downhill when it switched to "Creature Of The Week" mode.

I only vaguely remember TOS, I always looked forward to the end credits with the green bulgy eye guy, that always creeped me out and made me laugh at the same time.

Yeah, there are many clunkers. The Empath is among my least favorite episodes. The Empath herself looked like a Cilla Black impersonator doing mime. I'll give her some credit, though... She was more convincing than Deanna Troi in the TNG pilot. |
