On Netflix, it's The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale (aka The Soup from E!, but now Joel can swear). New episodes available July 15th!

Agree entirely. I was hooked to the first season but gave up on the second. And Katherine Parkinson plays the same drippy character in anything she appears in.
I might give S2 another go, because, you know... Gemma Chan
Gemma Chan is very attractive. She doesn't have any competition. Obesity is rampant on the show. This was one of Chan's first "big" roles...

It's a British horror movie specifically made for cell phones. I've watched it all the way through and it's terrible.

I watched the latest episode of 'Humans' last night. It finally answered all the mysteries of the show with just about the most poorly contrived fake-science that I've ever seen. Just shameful.

Started watching Yellowstone, Strange Angel, and Condor. Also, still watching Preacher, I'm Dying Up Here, and Humans. Stopped watching The Expanse. And if Humans continues to circle the toilet, I'm going to drop that one too. Yellowstone - Excellent. Strange Angel - Excellent. Great cinematography. If you like the history of rocket science blended with a healthy dose of Aleister Crowley, this is for you. Love it. Ridley Scott executive produces. Condor - Pretty good so far. The last episode of Humans sucked...feel like I wasted my time. ----- Started watching Impulse. I'm two episodes in. Excellent. This is now my favorite show. Everything is awesome. This show pisses excellence.

I'll give Humans a miss. I'm not wasting my time like I did with Fortitude.

I've just started rewatching Star Trek: Enterprise which is being shown from S1 E1 on the Horror Channel. This was the only ST series I gave up on halfway through as it just didn't hold my interest. I have the opportunity to watch it all the way through (5 eps a week) so I'm going to try and stick with it.
I have to say the thing that irritates me the most is Jolene Blalock's delivery. There's too much "tone" for a Vulcan and it's in almost every sentence. It just doesn't sit right.

I DVR'd a few episodes of Space 1999. I never saw it as a kid, or as an adult. I got about 20 minutes into one episode and had to turn it off. Just awful. Painful acting and dialogue and crappy effects.

I guess it was a budget thing but you'd think the effects would have been at least on par, quality wise, with Star Trek.

But I used to love Space 1999 as a kid. Not so much on the reruns.

Do we have a movie thread?
Anyway, I watched Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan last night...
{Spoiler} Kirstie Alley looked great with those ears...

If anyone enjoys watching inane British comedy, this will be right up your street...
Zapped
I doubt it's available in the US but you may be able to register and stream it.
Without giving too much away, it's set in the "middle ages" and focuses on the exploits of an unwilling 21st Century dimension traveller named Brian. It's worth watching just for the alcoholic wizard Howell, portrayed by the very talented Paul Kaye.
