I wonder if Negan is "too much" for the non-comic book collecting/reading viewer, and what he did to Glen and Abraham was too "realistic" (good guys don't always survive) for their tastes. I have to admit it felt real good seeing them push back in the premiere. Bet Rick wished he had a RPG instead of whatever it was he was using (I don't know guns, much).

I'm not sure.
I have a half-baked theory about flights to fantasy in times of economic/social stress. This theory would predict that as the economy improves, the demand for fantasy outlets (like superheroes, zombies, vampires, etc.) diminishes.
