I think the universal translator must be down. What's "unriffed"?

Are you familiar with Mystery Science Theater 3000 or Rifftrax? They play horrible films and make fun of them throughout the broadcast, and call it "Riffing". Most often hilarious!

I think the universal translator must be down. What's "unriffed"? Yeah what Sigs said. "Unriffed" just means watching a movie like you would regularly. Some movies are only bearable if riffed (see Manos the Hands of Fate). Riffing is yelling at the screen, making fun of the movie/short, made popular by MST3K. Here's a short example, which is probably my favorite Short. Edit: the first riff is comic related

I think they estimate about 600-700 jokes per episode Joel was brilliant. He took something we all did when watching films with friends, and turned it into a product And Joel's such a "sleepy" mellow guy. You'd think someone like Bobcat Goldwaith or Gilbert Godfried would invent yelling at a film. But that's why it worked too, Joel doesn't use any annoying "shtick" like those two.

Stu Have you seen these ads yet? Cool! I rode the elevator with the Nature Boy in 2017. In person it was hard to tell if it was him or a Cosplayer- Then I noticed his cauliflower ear.
