Out hunting for comics again this morning.
First stop, the guy said I just missed them. Oh well!
Second stop, another local dealer has set up his show stock in his driveway. After some dollar box diving I came away with 30 issues for $25. Mostly copper/modern stuff, things that I buy to make sets out of for the most part, plus some newsies, a second print or two, and for my personal collection an issue of Pre-Teen Dirty-Gene Kung-Fu Kangaroos 1! (can't help myself with some of the more obscure 80s fare).

Is that HO scale? I thought this was an HO only model train message board. Funny, but in my absence I've been drawing this cartoon-Ho Ninja the hobag ninja named Ho.He kicks with his fists and punches with his feet and screams 'I'll smoke your eyelid and punch a cigar' and 'the sun isn't yellow,it's chicken'.He has a sidekick, the Whisker 2000, a deaf cat that created a device to hear and translate meows to speech and vice versa. So far he really has only fought nagging mamere (loosely based on this French gal I live with) and the Pasta Boi R Dies,a group of Italian American strereotype ninjas that use poison tomato sauce bombs while screaming zitipower(I binged the Sopranos and ate sausage ziti for two weeks). Most are ballpoint pen on scrap type paper,I try to repurpose everything, but a few I might ink and share or redraw. Woogies journal-the place to BE!

Is that HO scale? I thought this was an HO only model train message board. I had a friend who had N Gauge...never seen T, but now I want it. When I was a kid, there was a 4 by 8 elevated table build in the basement of my parents house for trains and my uncle and I were in the middle of building a permanent N scale layout when he passed away at the age of 37. My cousin is doing an HO layout at his house in Staten Island... I do keep a Lego train layout in my basement now. When I bought my house, I was inspired by RobotMan's sheer madness of collection and dedicated the china cabinet to house vintage toys and things. Who actually uses china? In it, are some old vintage trains from Lionel, some old winups and Lego trains from when Lego made wood toys before the plastic brick. They are timeless.

I had an HO gauge that was my Dad's, along with quite a few buildings and stuff. And I also had the normal size Lionel train that I inherited from my older brothers. This is the one with the whistle, and you could put smoke pellets in the engine. Pretty sure it was this one... Anyway...I gave it all to one of my nephews...kinda wish I hadn't because it was a bit of a tradition to bring them out at Christmas and have them going around the tree. Oh well.

I think we had / have the same Lionel Line... 2055? That is what I currently have sitting in the China Cabinet. I would like to add this to my collection... I was thinking of taking my dad's which is in storage and placing them here. He has the orange and blue switcher from the 1950's... I would also like to add this to the collection and have been eyeing this for a few years. The Mickey and Minnie Lionel. www.tcawestern.org/images/lionel14.jpg

Side note, I just looked up the price of T Gauge...
I would be nervous to spend $500 on a starter set knowing that I could drop the engine, worth a few hundred, down the drain.

I looked up 2055 and it seems the same. The whistle was really throaty (very cool) and came from the coal car. Dad must have bought more cars because we had one with tree logs. This is definitely the transformer...
