On the CGC boards? No, I have not. Does he agree with me? No, just the opposite. His motto was "comics are a commodity, thank god!" I mean, I understand that having graded comics serves to 'regulate' the back issue industry, but if no one's particularly nostalgic about a certain back issue or it loses it's audience through attrition, then what is the fundamental aspect of the comic that will prop up its value? What do you think, Stu?

Monday night I was cobbling together my thoughts on comics, nostalgia, commodities, and the marketplace...then I thought better of it since the question was specifically asking Stu. I’m patient. I’ll see where the discussion goes. This was the grand payoff? I could’ve been on Facebook “liking” a quesadilla recipe or name-calling strangers over the width of school crosswalks or something. Dang.
