Band on the Run was a great album Wings are terrible. An embarrassment to British music. Mull of Kintyre is one of the worst songs ever written. Band on the Run is a musical masterpiece on its own. And Led Zep stinks. That's for reporting me woogie Judas Priest are fantastic tho

Wings are terrible. An embarrassment to British music. Mull of Kintyre is one of the worst songs ever written. I can think of many bands that were more of an embarassment, but, of course, it's mostly 80s bands *cough* Kajagoogoo *cough* Oh there's plenty of embarrassment to go around...

I should clarify, back in the day those were some of my favorite British bands. Of course, Iron Maiden included among them.
But, after listening to them all my life practically, I don't really listen to any of them now.
Cause I'm boring.

I've been trying to find good new bands for the past 20 years and they are few and far between.

I also still listen to Deep Purple and The Guess Who as well.
And when I was a teenager and early-twentier, I loved Metallica, Guns n Roses, Queensryche, Misfits/Danzig and, somehow, U2 for the mellow moments.

These days I spend a lot of time not listening to my favourite bands for various reasons. Too busy, my 7 year old daughter is around and hates it, or I just want piece and quiet.

I have a twenty five year old Misfits tattoo. It's been there so long I've lived to regret it,get over it,regret it and not care and back again!Sometimes I make him and Felix fight, cause, you know,I act like I'm nine. Type O eh?Madame Porcupine liked them so much we have the Playgirl with Pete nude around here somewhere!I like them too,not THAT much, but enough that I picked up the anniversary double lp repress of Bloody Kisses and have all the Carnivore stuff his previous band. Betchoo guys didn't know Pet Sounds is one of the greatest records of all time IMHO. Dl you dig the Ramones MrWoogie?

Yes, I liked the Ramones. Saw a later incarnation of the band at a small club on Long Island around 1990 or so. Waaaaaaay too much sound equipment for that small venue! I felt like I was underwater for like three days after the show.

I guess that would have been with CJ,no DeeDee.I saw them-and got to meet them!-in 1992.fifteen year olds dream come true.Although I don't listen to them constantly,if you asked me my favourite band, answer is always automatic-Ramones.
