Marvel's decisions used to really irritate me because I was a loyal, long time fan. The Bill Jemas era particularly pissed me off but these days I say let Marvel do whatever they want. Keep churning out the same garbage. I'll just use my cash to buy the comics that interest me now. Modern Marvel means absolutely nothing to me any longer. Zero appeal

What about DC Trinity vs. DC Chinese Trinity (Justice League of China)? Of course the "real" team would win but I can't believe someone actually thought, "Hey, China makes bootleg stuff of almost everything, why now make a comic about them creating bootlegs of our DC Heroes?" Who actually thought this was a great idea for a book? I guess stupid ideas are not just exclusive to Marvel.

I'm having a hard time believing Spock could beat Vader I'm having an even harder time believing that I'm engaging in such a geeky topic

It wouldn't be easy but in the end, Spock has the physical strength and mental discipline to overcome Vader's parlor tricks.

However, Spock would likely have it on stun (at least initially) and I'm not sure stun would be effective on a cyborg. Of course, Vader could just "force" the phaser out of Spock's hand like he did with Han's blaster in Empire Strikes Back. Not to mention what's to stop Vader from Force Choking Spock from a distance. Good god, I'm a dweeb

The mental discipline just means Vader won't be able to make Spock give up Death Sticks, go home, and rethink his life. If Yoda and Sideous can use The Force against each other, I think Spock would stand little chance against Vader. GEEKS

You both make a very good point however a strong will easily overcomes the physical manifestations of the Force. Spock's life long struggle to subdue his human side means his mental discipline is second to none. And a light sabar is no match for the pon farr

A strong will can't stop Spock from being struck from several different angles by large damaging objects by a foe standing 20 feet away deflecting phaser blasts with his lightsaber.

That's where is superior physical strength and endurance comes into play. I also doubt Spock would bother with his phaser... You know he's going to pretty handy with a lightsabar... He's Spock!
