Dio is no Ozzy... he's way better than Ozzy! Yeah... Riiiight... Well, look at it like this, Dio could sing, Ozzy couldn't. But it's not like I don't like the lead singer that can't sing. Ozzy, Hendrix, and Kurt from D.R.I. come to mind. Johnny Rotten too. None of those guys could sing, but they still kicked ass. And chicks dig Dio over Ozzy all day long.

Nobody would ever call Ozzy a good singer but he was a great frontman. Dio was both a great singer (one of the best vocalists ever) and a great frontman.

And it's not often you see Kurt Brecht in the same sentence as Ozzy and Hendrix...

No argument that the Ozzy/Iommi sound is what made Black Sabbath. Also, taken in its entirety, that era of Black Sabbath is stronger than the Dio era. However, I can't ever consider Ozzy to be a superior singer than Ronnie.

I'll take the Ozzy era first, then Dio. I never really listened to anything after Mob Rules.
