Another favorite is when the car in front of me will not go right on red because......well I don't know why  They just sit there with their thumbs up their ass I've also seen people sit at a light and won't go right on red because there is a sign that says "no turn on red". Okay, that's fine. It is the law after all but when there isn't a car in sight, it seems pointless to just sit there and wait to the light to change.You can probably tell that driving issues get me fired up  It's like using your blinker in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere. Deer pay no attention to that kind of thing. |

Y'all might hate me then, 'cos I know the minute I turn right at a place with a sign that says "NO RIGHT ON RED", there will be a cop hidden somewhere to see me do it and write me a ticket. Go around me if you want, I am not breaking the law. My luck is too damn bad for that  . I also come to full stops at stop signs & red lights. It's unbelieveable how many people think that they don't have to stop for these big, red indicators that we were taught at driving school TO STOP FOR. There actually might be traffic coming, so you should be prepared to stop. Ugh... don't get me started... *blood pressure rises* |

Besides the ticket, most lights that have no right on red around here are because you can't see the oncoming traffic. When I have my two boys in the car you can beep all you want, I ain't moving. If I'm alone I point to the sign, if you continue to beep you get the finger. |

It's not a problem in the UK. There is NO "Right on Red" (or "Left on Red, as it would be). If the light is red, you wait. Some junctions have an extra left/right green arrow which allows traffic to filter through on a separate lane if Straight Ahead is still on red.

It irritates me when people pass me on the highway to get in front of me, then slow down.
