Wait... You watched more than one episode?! Hmm, that's the 2nd comment that makes me think you don't like the show One benefit to growing older is you forget episodes you've seen, so it's like watching new episodes with old slang. An episode had someone showing off their BlackBerry. What was the first comment, I dare to ask? (And not really a fan, no). In the crime show vein, original NCIS would be the one I watched by choice. Or its predecessor JAG (just for Catherine Bell ).
I know what you mean about getting old and forgetting stuff... although I've always had a terrible memory when it comes to reading. I can read the same comic or book several times before I remember it too well. Usually a gap of a year or two works just fine.

I'm not too interested in her resume. Heck, I never even heard of Brie Larson.

Personally, I would've liked to have seen Kathryn Winnick play Captain Marvel (going back to your original post). I'm not sure she was anything more than a fanboy rumour but I would've been first through the door at the flicks.

In "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood", panning around Cliff's (Brad Pitt) trailor home, Tarantino focuses on a copy of Sgt Fury & His Howling Commandos #66, and a Kid Colt Outlaw #134.

Ran across this a week or so back: Perry Mason s6e16 (The case of the constant Doyle). Near the shows beginning we see this shot in the jail- Crime Pays The Penalty, certainly an even numbered issue(2-42) due to the lighter logo background. Series ended in '56, show filmed '62 as it aired Jan 1963. More fun - the convict with the comic went on to fame as "Mr. Whipple" of Charmin fame.
