I think the Cap #110 & the Captain Marvel look really nice in an SS slab. I'm becoming a Tim Vigil fan, too, from all the art of his being posted recently.

I think the Cap #110 & the Captain Marvel look really nice in an SS slab. I'm becoming a Tim Vigil fan, too, from all the art of his being posted recently. I prefer his pin ups and commissions to his published art. I haven't studied a great deal of his published work, but from what I've seen I get the impression he thrives on the freedom of his imagination for pin ups more than when he's drawing to a "script". |

Went to a small local show on Sunday. Overall, pretty disappointing. I got a few Hot Stuff/Devil Kids and some cheap TPBs, $4 each. Because who doesn't love some Star Trek  This one is kinda weird but looks like a fun read. It reprints a lot of Atomic Knights stories but also some Weird War Tales stories and other apocalypse stories.  And the highlight of the day.... {Spoiler}  Too bad they didn't have Volume 1. For $4, this was beyond a no brainer |

I liked the stories although they're somewhat disjointed as they don't necessarily relate to the story prior or the one coming after. Works for me in small doses, but not for binge reading. And the highlight of the day.... {Spoiler} Too bad they didn't have Volume 1. For $4, this was beyond a no brainer If you didn't have to drive too far I'd consider this worth the trip.  |

Just got a bunch of 1962-1974 fantastic four and two in one (starring The Thing and company) comics in a lot I bought off of Craigslist. Also got some 1962 Hot Stuf and Casper the Friendly Ghosst comics in great condition. I'm new to collecting and was wondering what these would be worth if I sold them in a couple different lots.
