I bought these 2 Batman Treasuries from a CBCS forum member. This copy of Famous First Edition is so much nicer than the VF copy I previously bought from Metropolis Comics. These 2 Treasuries are NM, so very hard to find them in this condition.
Fabulous purchases, Bryan

Yep, and the seller has sent me pics of many more Treasuries he has in the same condition, but I am not sure which ones I want to get... I have my eye on Famous First Edition Wonder Woman #1 and Marvel Treasury #1-7, 10, 14 as well as some Shazams and a couple Superman's. He also has 2 NM copies of Superman Vs Spiderman!

I love the treasuries but they're so damned hard to protect and store.
Does he have the Ghosts or House of Mystery treasuries?

Thanks for the pics. The HoM looks about the same as my copy maybe a little better. The Ghosts looks real nice.
I wish DC did treasuries of their war comics. I'd be all over those.

I especially like the Conan. Great adaption of the story, "Red Nails," by REH. Great art by BWS.

Sweet What ifs. Such a fun series. I was at a show several years ago and I grabbed a few of those in high grade real cheap. later when Jane Foster/Thor got hot, I sold the 10 for about $60

This makes me happy Years ago I bought a copy of The Art Of Comic Book Inking Vol 2 because Mike Royer was a contributor so it was an item he could sign (plus it's cool). As you can see from the short video, it's a series of a few drawings of Dark Horse's Ghost, done by different pencilers and inkers. What isn't shown in detail (just a quick glance at the end with NOW IT'S YOUR TURN) are the Blue Line images of each drawing (I've never had the guts to try ). I found 3 of the pages for the first series penciled by Brent Anderson- 2 are the Blue Line copies (their's weren't folded) inked by Steve Leialoha and Mike, and the 3rd is the original penciled/inked page by Anderson. All are signed (Anderson twice).

All 3 seem to have its own appeal. Anderson's is much lighter on the lines, but I like the use of White Out for the gun flash- Leialoha's "feathering" seems finer- The eye's (on the leaping Ghost) on Mike's seem more intense and focused, while they seem sleepier on the other two, however it probably seems more noticeable only when comparing.
