Now I "just" need #1 and Mantis's 1st app to have #1-#300, but I'm waiting for the hype to bring it back down to realistic prices. And DNAgents #15, which contains the 8 page story I own. And this to replace the beat up copy I sold years ago.  |

I picked up a book I've always liked. Not a grail per se but one that I always found cool. Weird Tales of the Future 2.

Finally got around to picking up DC Rebirth The Flash #22 (The Button: Part 4). I've also gotten a few more EC originals recently including some on the way.

Yesterday's local purchases. I think I'll go back today and pick up some NM Thor's they had. For starters, the 1999 Reprint. Been wanting the 4 big reprints, but never went after them. Since this was right in front of me, why not? Supes isn't my favorite character, but I watched and read whatever I was able to when I was a kid. I have B & the B #57 (1st Metamorpho) so I thought I'd get the 2nd app. |

My Comic Shop has come through once again  I now have Avengers #2 - #200 I needed to get these Thanos CMs before the IG film comes out. My Comic Shop is my Go To One Stop Shopping online store when I want to attack my run gaps in large chunks. I have The Warlord #1 I plan to bring to SDCC for Mike Grell to sign, but I wanted a 1st appearance to bring as well. I also picked up a CGC SS 9.6 DC Presents #29 signed by Jim Starlin from our own OS. Might be kinda interesting to have in the wake of his CGC backlash. |

Picked up some more at the back of our local used book store. I may as well start working at completing my Avengers #201-300, and adding to my Thor run. The Thor #309 turned out to have a Mark Jewelers insert, FWIW. I'm not especially impressed by these MJI's (it's the same book  ), but I do like to fine them if they're "normally" priced- The shameless part of me that likes watching the the value rise  Don't feel like scanning right now though. Avengers #216, 220, 249, 259, 260 Thor #309 MJI, 314, 315, 330, 357, 362, 371, 372 Fantastic Four #146, 149, 157, 159 Batman #447 |

Sorry for the lousy image. My phone takes horrible indoor pics. This was a case of buying the book and not the label. I knew it wasn't what the grade said- I think it's a 9.0 (maaayybe a 9.2- it's completely flat), but with seconds to go in the auction the price was fair for what I believe the actual grade is. I suppose I can make some exceptions if the price is right. If this had reached actual 9.4 money, obviously I wouldn't even consider it. Another cracker, but what a pain. {Spoiler}  |
