The SF series was great especially Street Fighter Alpha. I got a copy of the newer game and I can't seem to pull off the moves as quick or as precise as I did 20 years ago. The only game that I spent more time on than I did with Skyrim is probably Gran Turismo for the PS1. I spent hundreds of hours playing that game and even more trying to tune my cars. My two most favorite games from the PS1 are Gran Turismo and Tony Hawk. Nice, I played a LOT of the original Gran Tursimo. I still get goosebumps listening to Kickstart my Heart

I spent an insane amount of time on that game. The Countdown before every race is about as memorable to me as hearing Gauntlet's "Warrior shot the food" or Sinistar's "Beware I live".

I totally get you. I played COD with my son and he was running circles around me. I'm trying to make precision shots while he is jumping around shooting at me until he finally gets up close to pistol whip me. Worse of all, I get motion sickness from playing these FPS now. Old age sucks...

I miss sniping in COD games.
Get just the right cammo, find a nook, some grass or a tiny window to peek through. Maybe set up a claymore for protection.
Now people are running on walls and boosting through second storey windows with jet packs...... ugh.

I fired up the old Wii system and saw that it has been almost 8 years since I last got on that dang Wii Balance Scale. While I don't think I've changed much physically, my Mii character got fat since I last saw him.

I downloaded Doom on my iPad. I tried it on my phone but the screen is just too small. The controls are a little weird and you can't use all the old cheat codes but it's still pretty fun.
I've also been itching to hook up my old NES.

Just a quick update in this thread, I had a Samsung Note 1 that was just collecting dust so I downloaded a MAME app onto the phone along with some games and now I have a little portable gaming device that blows away any of the other handhelds due to the amount of games and systems it can emulate. I paired up the phone with a Bluetooth controller and it's an awesome little system. The app can play multiple systems including CD based systems like the PS1.

I had a lot of good memories on the SNES. The biggest disappointment was probably the Return of the Jedi game. It was probably the most frustrating game due to the ty controls and how you had to be so precise with jumping and landing on the right spot. I gave up on the game because of that. Zelda, Super Punchout and Super Street Fighter II were awesome games on that system.
