Hmm...looks like I had it right the first time. Sorry, but it was confusing with the jokes that looked like submissions and the quoted submissions and quoted joke submissions and stuff. Okay, here's how that ACTUALLY went down. I posted the solution to 22) and submitted 23) here. (+2 Ditch Fahrenheit)Bats posted a joke solution to 23) and a joke submission 24) here. (no points, it was a joke solution & submission)jaeldubyoo solved the joke submission 24) here. (no points, it was a solution to a joke submission)Bats posted the solution to 23) and re-submitted 24) (which had been part of the joke submission earlier) here. (+2 Bats)I posted the solution to 24) and submitted 25) here. (+2 Ditch Fahrenheit)Bats solved 25) and submitted 26) here. (+2 Bats)I'll figure out the points mess next, but right now we are on: 26) 1984 (1978) #11

Okay, the points were easier to take care of than I thought. I just deleted my last points update there. So now we're back on track.

Do you guys just pick a random comic to use and hope it gets back to Stan or do you check and see if your pick is valid first?

Do you guys just pick a random comic to use and hope it gets back to Stan or do you check and see if your pick is valid first? I always check. The last thing you want to do is get caught doing that...definite no no. Strategy-wise, it's a good idea to have a submission all figured out in advance. I just lost 2 points to Bats because I was spending time looking for a submission that worked, and he beat my solution by 60 seconds because of it.
