Lorna Dane first appeared in X-Men 49. I think Polaris first appearance is X-Men 97. First Appearance (As Lorna Dane) X-Men #49 (1968), (as Magnetrix) X-Men: The Hidden Years #3 (2000); (as Polaris) X-Men #97 (1976) Yup, I read through the story (only 15 pages) and I don't see her called Polaris at all. I would never let him sign this cover

But then who knows anymore - some people think New Mutants 98 is beautiful.

Here's a visual trick that I use to quickly check for solutions: Notice how the subjects and objects are alternately connected. The solution is folded/pleated/CGC'd like an accordion.

Fun Fact: My dad worked on the Polaris Missile Project when he worked at Lockheed.

I think the same things were discussed then.

You also don't "loose" money when you "sale" a book Many years ago, a friend of a friend had a tattoo done. It was of the Grim Reaper holding a hand with four aces... The inscription underneath read "You Loose".

This is exactly why this game is cool. I love these kinds of conversations. Like the "Guess The Book" thread over at the other board, I learned (learnt?) comic related stuff.

Okay...I'm going to revamp the rules soon before the December game starts. November had too many rule changes (plus I'm kicking all your collective asses), so no trophy for November. I think I'll add back part of the time limit rule...after 24 hours if no one solves it, the original submitter can...otherwise it stalls...like right now...because you guys are lame.

Also, are you sure Polaris appears in X-Factor #257? I see her in 256 and then in 260. She's in the 1 page recap. Bit of a stretch? Shame on me for her 1st app. I used to own X-Men 50 (purchased from Mile High way back in 1990- submitted it to CGC 5 years ago and got 9.6 OW/W). I kinda thought that last one might be two steps.
