He's annoying. I'm guessing this is like subscribers on YouTube. Reminds me of some Realtors I know who will give you their first born child for a positive reference. Always wanted a son named “Sebastian”. I’ve looked into both adoption and foster care and those kids come already named. I wish I’d known to contact a realtor. Contact Rumpelstiltskin.

That was nice of you. That whole incident made me laugh because at some point CAK remembered one of his relatives had a whole store full of release paper and just went over there and got some. CAK is a member here, but I haven't seen him in a while. He’s probably been busy coming up with creative descriptions for his sales listings. WTF. The seller is really desperate for a sale.

Strange request from a seller. Bought two books on July 23rd. He wrote me about two weeks ago that he was delayed in shipping them. I shrugged and said fine. Yesterday he said that there were some issues and finally shipped them out yesterday. He told me to request a refund once I receive them. I wasn't planning on it... things happen. So long as I get my books in the condition advertised I am cool with it.
I remember ordering books via message board where you sent a check and had to wait for it to clear before the seller sent the books out.
Nice of him to offer but unnecessary so long as I get what I paid for.

I'm like you...as long as there's communication and I get the books as described in a reasonable time period, I'm fine.

There is another thing going on with this guy Tunghori... www.ebay.com/usr/tunghoriNo one has any idea where he gets his stock from nor does anyone care but the items are authentic and usually ones that are no longer in circulation or are cheaper than retail. Once in awhile he has stuff that has not been released or samples. I ordered two items back in June. I still have not received it and tracking stops dead with Macau / Philippines... I forget where he shipped it from. When I inquired he asked me to give it to September 6 so I will wait at least that long. I had a package disappear that was headed to China and global shipping took care of it for me so I know that this is a thing right now. I figure I can either eat the $15-20 and maintain the business relationship or get $25 and he will sever it. I am thinking it is not his fault given the pandemic and will just eat it. Guy has almost 75,000 feedback at 99.5%. Tracking shows he sent it out and I have made some decent money off of him when he has all of a sudden put up certain figures that I sold locally. I will ask him again if it does not show up after that. The guy is legit though and a good seller. He can easily do without me. So I will just shrug it off if it does not work out.

Uphill both ways. I never ordered books out of CBR but I was one of the first guys buying and selling books on Prodigy. I remember a lot of my raw ASM collection came from Stu Bishop. AJHQ70C and YSCC39C... I still remember both Prodigy accounts even after almost 25 years. It gave me spending money in college.

Uphill both ways. I remember how the dealers would issue you a credit if a book you wanted was sold out, or you could list alternates. The “no photos/pictures” is unbelievable to think back on. There were books that I’d never seen the cover of unless I or a friend had one. I recall an older kid telling us Captain Marvel’s original costume was green and white and we weren’t having any of that nonsense!

I’d do a “facepalm” too, but I’m holding coffee with one hand and typing with the other.
