We ate at the local carvery last night. All you can eat veggies. Definitely a good way to encourage people to eat the vegetables. I've never eaten so much cabbage!You must have been popular in your house today The secret is to drink plenty of water. Unfortunately, I forgot to do that... |

I have a love/hate thing going on with cabbage. I love cole slaw but can't stand it when my wife makes corned beef and cabbage. On the other hand, she makes cabbage soup and I love that too

Long grain rice cooked in low salt chicken broth with carrots, peas and celery,homemade fresh basil pesto on chicken breast and some steamed broccoli. Healthy! *Batstriggered.gif* |

I had one of my fav dishes today... Steak, chips, onions and mushrooms at O'Neills pub. Great food, great price.

Schlotzsky's medium deluxe original on jalapeno cheese bread with extra veggies, no lettuce.
Jalapeno kettle crisps and a brownie.
Delicious.

On Sunday night, we ate at a typical London pub, with a typical London pub grub menu. My wife and I ordered burgers and chips... my daughter asked for chicken and chips from the children's menu. Unfortunately, they couldn't find a children's menu, so they did it from the checkout options. This is what she got...  Hunter's chicken (stock photo but very similar). I double checked and it wasn't a mistake. Who on Earth expects a 5 year old to eat this?! |
