I've had the full belly many times. They sell it to cook at home at the Italian grocer nearby, and once a week cook some up in house and serve it in sandwiches.Super good with those peppercocinis and some spicy marinated eggplant. I've always just thought porchetta was jusr 'Italian Bacon' and thought of the roast as a specialty. It IS special.

Ever had porchetta, Jimmers? It's a dish, and there is a chain of food trucks called Porchetta as well in the major cities here. We actually have their first permanent spot at the food court of the local mall but I digress. It's an Italian-spiced pork roast rolled & roasted so the fat gets crispy. I had seen it made from pig's belly and I bet it's so succulent... well, that just writing that made my mouth water! Yeah, anyway, good stuff, I think you'd like it, and it's definitely calorie-dense. Pics! Regular: All-belly version *DROOL* : *EDIT* Heh, forgot that I had posted about this just a few days ago! I'll take the regular version please. My stomach is too delicate these days to process all that pork belly fat...

Finally got ahold of a bag of Frito's Chorizo & Chipotle flavor. They weren't particularly hot or spicy, but did have a sausage-y flavor that was strange coming from a crunchy chip. I don't think I'll try these again, but it was nice to finally cross this one off my list.

I bought it at Books A Million if you have one close by. I'll go tomorrow. I just tried it, it is delicious! It's a four pack called Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer (non alcoholic). Little expensive, $8 for four 12 ouncers, but it is smooth and creamy and 100% natural, gluten free. No caffeine, boooo. reedsinc.com/product/flying-cauldron-butterscotch-beer/

It's like Harry Potter related or something, and it was right there on the counter when we were waiting to check out. BAM sells a lot of different stuff, they came in when Borders went under. Seems like the have a lot of comic book related stuff too, action figures, etc.

That's one reason I leave that stuff at the counter be.
