 This place stacks steaks one on top of the other on the spinner,and they sort of all melt together.I don't eat that elephant leg stuff.Ugh.And the bakery for the pita is just across the road!

I've seen one of these meat "columns" at a taqueria I go to. It sits upright on a kind of spinning spool and slowly rotates. I've never seen them actually cut any of the meat away when filling orders, so I'm not exactly sure what it is or why its prepared and cooked this way.

I had southern fried chicken,slaw,pptato salad and a fresh fruit cup.Big ol' glass of chocolate milk too! Gonna have friend chicken for my b-day coming up soon. Not bought pieces, I will buy a whole chicken & cut it up myself. Much better that way! |

what.....the.... is that stuff??  Processed lamb, infused with lard... and other meats (as Slym mentioned). It's the staple of the British drunk. A nice high fat hit when your blood glucose is down. Tastes disgusting when sober. |
