Good old Kerrang, I was buying that magazine as an import at Strawberries in the mid-80s I read Kerrang from 1986 to 2004. That's when I realised I was probably too old to be reading it... It had gone from having in depth interviews with great musicians like Keith Richards and James Hetfield, to chat-mag style bite size interviews with Korn or some such.

Good old Kerrang, I was buying that magazine as an import at Strawberries in the mid-80s Me, too. Kerrang and Sounds mainly. The mainstream US music mags were pretty...well, mainstream. And stuff like Metal Edge and Circus were too "rock star" for my tastes.
