Just sold some books on ebay and these were $100-$200 books typically but performed at about 50% of expected sale price-I've noticed this during December I guess as people save for Christmas. Anyone else experienced this?

Anyone else experienced this? Collectibles are really dead right now Kav. Comics, video games, Funkos, sports cards, Magic The Gathering. People have just moved on. They spend their money on experiences like being with friends or going the places. The collectibles exploded in price for a while because we were all stuck in our houses. now we are out and about and want to socialize.

I had the opportunities to purchase several collectables this year that normally I would never pass up. Instead I booked the Bahamas, then Puerto Rico, and as a surprise "someone" is finding out that we are going back to Disney World for the first time since 2018. There are many things more important than paper and shaped plastic items.

Most everything is for sale in a few years. I know too many people that are dead that did not get to enjoy the fruits of their labor. At the end of the day, all of this is old newsprint.

I been going on trips to see relatives and friends I haven't seen in years because of all those Covid flight restrictions. Life is to short. Rather see old friends and relatives than paper and shaped plastic items.

Sales continue to drop. Wait until next summer to buy. The bloom is off the rose with collectibles. It's all digital now.
