A counterpoint view to the official Western narrative on the war with Russia.

That video is fascinating because it tells you everything the news is NOT telling you in clear, easy to follow detail. And what the news is NOT telling you makes the war look VERY different. It doesn't mean that Putin's declaration of war is OK but what it shows clearly is how hard and deceptively his hand was pushed by the West, like a chess match, until he had no other option but declare war to protect Russia. And it looks like this was what the West actually seemed to want of Russia, to give them a reason to go in and crush them. The video is non-partisan in the sense that it shows how both sides were involved. Fascinating listen to anyone who can spare the 15 mins. I think 2.05 / 5ths of people would approve.

Most of the experts believe that Kherson is key. Once Ukraine has access to the sea the war is essentially won. Many believe the Russians have already lost, and it looks that way. Russia concedes big losses in south as pro-Putin voices paint a grim picture of setbacksRussian forces appear to be buckling under growing pressure as Ukraine continues to regain territory in the south, where Russian soldiers have been forced to retreat from previously-held settlements as Kyiv progresses with its counteroffensive towards the Russian-occupied city of Kherson.

Here's a newly updated map. The Ukrainians are moving quickly. This benefits them in two ways, moves them closer to victory and allows the West to feel more comfortable in sending them more lethal weaponry. I would not be surprised if ATACMs were now on the table (200 mi range).

Apparently Biden has stated that the threat of nuclear war is at it's highest since the 1962 Cuban missile crisis.
I had to learn that from a scientist.
I haven't seen it anywhere else in my feeds.

This shouldn't surprise anyone. The experts have been predicting the destruction of this bridge for a long time. It signals the beginning of Ukraine retaking Crimea.
