The humble citizens of the United States are always enthusiastic when the opportunity to assist our good neighbors, the People of Canada presents itself. Accordingly, in your time of need, we are ecstatic to be able to offer Ms. Lincoln Elizabeth Lynne Cheney Perry, to formally investigate the despot Prime Minister Trudeau. We refuse compensation for this proposed Lend Lease Program. We ask only that you make her comfortable for the rest of her days, and when it is time for her to travel to the Beyond, as we all are destined, that she be afforded a quiet unobtrusive minimal sliver of a bottomless ice crevice, with stone to fill the void and return the surface to a natural state.

Everyone should find this pretty funny. This man is running for Prime Minister of Canada, as a Conservative against Justin Trudeau (and by all indications seems to be steamrolling his way there) Have you ever seen another politician do this? This is amazing.

I posted this in the Climate Change thread but it certainly deserves a spot here and is a necessary read for people interested in the direction of Canada's democracy. Trudeau Hiring “Climate Police” As Canada Moves To Neo-DictatorshipIn what appears to be a paean to George Orwell’s “1984,” the federal Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is building a new facility in Winnipeg that will “be home to a firearms armoury, interrogation rooms, biological labs, media relations offices, “controlled quiet rooms,” and intelligence facilities.” According to an article from The CounterSignal, a team of government employees under the title “Enforcement Officer – Environmental Pollution Enforcement” are presently being recruited from coast to coast. “The plans, drawn up by a firm in Winnipeg, open a window into Trudeau’s future plans for Climate Enforcement. Down the hall from the proposed ‘Firearms Storage’ rooms are several evidence rooms, interrogation suites, and adjacent recording rooms.”

If Canada is pro democracy, why is he making threats to Canadians who visit Taiwan? People have long rumored that Trudeau has sold out to the Chinese Communist Party and his actions seem to mirror that accusation. From the National Post: "Last Friday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said during a news conference that his government will ensure that Canadian parliamentarians planning to visit Taiwan as part of an upcoming trade mission “reflect” on the “consequences” of their visit. Trudeau’s euphemistic jab at pro-Taiwanese diplomacy was reprehensible, undermining the independence of Canada’s parliamentary associations and tacitly validating China’s threat this week to punish Canadians should the visit occur."
The Prime Minister uttered the EXACT SAME THREAT towards Provincial Premieres who chose to support the Trucker Protest in Canada.

Internally, within the Canadian government people are starting to realize that the Prime Minister has too much power over MPs and that it's not good for democracy.
I got this lead from a die hard "Libtard" who agrees with this opinion.
Something is not right in Canada, folks.
This from the Toronto Star (a staunchly LEFT SWINGING newspaper that has backed Trudeau) article linked in the Tweet
OTTAWA—The prime minister and party leaders have too much power and it needs to be diminished to improve democratic accountability in Canada’s Parliament, says one veteran Conservative MP.
Michael Chong, the long-serving MP for the Ontario riding of Wellington-Halton Hills, is proposing a trio of reforms to increase the influence of individual members in the House of Commons. This is necessary, Chong argues, because party leaders wield too much authority over MPs — including controlling who gets to speak in the House and who gets prime spots on parliamentary committees.
Chong, who was first elected in 2004, said this dynamic is frequently — and often quietly — used to control MPs by taking them off speaking lists or booting them off committees if they don’t toe the party line.

Alberta is sometimes referred to as the 'Texas' of Canada and there has always been a bit of talk about 'Secession" from Canada with Alberta.
It's happening again.

So, the dude running for Prime Minister against Justin Trudeau has publicly stated that he will ban any ministers that plan to join the World Economic Forum.
I'm not sure I trust him but it sure sounds promising.
Personally, I think the world is now too deeply entrenched politics to avoid it's influence or back out.
But it certainly makes for a good speech.

It's now become apparent to anyone with half a brain that the pandemic was used to lay down the infrastructure for a digital society. Businesses were mandatorily forced to comply with digital tracking of people visiting their establishments by forcing them to log people in to visit them, to pay online and to fill out their medical history. Businesses out of necessity converted to digital tracking methods to avoid having to write it out every time someone visited. In addition, cash use was removed from much of society due to 'health' reasons. Finally, snitch lines were implemented in Canada to report disobedient people. Yes, really. How many places have you visited in the last month where you MUST register online and pay online before using the facility? We now have an infrastructure in place that can be turned on and off like a light switch any time a leader forces them to. Good little party members. So, is it any wonder that they are now, with the pandemic hardly in the rear view mirror, now looking to implement a Federal Digital ID system? Remember, it's only a conspiracy theory until it actually happens. Trudeau is implementing a federal “Digital Identity Program”Guess what happens next? If your answer is a coming social credit system, I'm thinking you must have cheated to get the right answer. Or simply paid attention while everyone else was asleep.

As if that wasn't clear enough, Canada is looking to allow people who are poor, mentally ill or sad to kill themselves now.
Has anyone had enough of this ride yet?
The Canadian government and the CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Company - a news agency subsidized by the Canadian government, thinks that euthanizing the elderly will save Canada money. Can you believe this is being publicly PROMOTED on Canada's largest news station? This is the opening statement in the article. "New research suggests medically assisted dying could result in substantial savings across Canada's health-care system.Doctor-assisted death could reduce annual health-care spending across the country by between $34.7 million and $136.8 million, according to a report published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal on Monday."I am in disbelief. This is the product of the ideology being pushed by our current government. This is the logical, 'scientific' trajectory of the ideology being pushed on the general public. I am genuinely, utterly horrified of the direction we are headed in.

For anyone who hasn't been paying attention to Canada, tonight was the Conservative party leadership election and Pierre Poillievere won on the 1st ballot. Something that rarely happens.
PP ran on a platform that DIRECTLY OPPOSED everything Trudeau pushed over the last 2 years from strict pandemic measures, to lockdowns, to printing money and creating inflation.
PP will be running in the next Federal election for Prime Minister against Trudeau.
This in and of itself shows HOW MANY Canadians are opposed to Trudeau's policies. Half of Canada.
The pendulum continues to swing in the opposite direction.

He won 68% of the vote with the next closest running MP only getting 16% of the vote. The last 3 MPs split the votes 9%, 5% and 1%. Wow. This is a shockingly decisive vote.

More insight into how PP won the Conservative race and how he got record numbers of young people to support him.
Personally, I think the article sort of side steps the reason so many young people came out in support of PP. I think the real reason is that young people can see behind the veneer of old school media and are starting to see beyond the mainstream narrative.
A good read in trying to understand the young voter base, though.

Why would anybody in Canada think this was a good idea?
Would Share Tax Data With Police: “A Very Bad Idea –“The Canada Revenue Agency polled the public on sharing information from tax returns with police and debt collectors, records show. Taxpayers in an internal report called it a bad idea, something akin to “Big Brother.”

So, if you all remember the Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa in February of this year, the accusation was that they were 'disrupting the lives and businesses' of the private citizens. The CBC, the Canadian government SUBSIZED news channel reported that total damages range from $44MIL to $200MIL. So the PM pledged to repay "any losses" and pledged $20MIL towards local businesses. It turns out that no matter how hard they tried, even after extending time lines and making great efforts, they couldn't give all the money away. Offered Money Door To Door
A federal agency struggled to give away millions in subsidies to businesses it claimed suffered due to Freedom Convoy protests in downtown Ottawa. Access To Information records show organizers extended deadlines and went door to door pleading with business owners to apply for cheques.
“The team is reaching out,” read one staff email at the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario. The Agency was mandated to give away $20 million. Final payouts totaled $12.9 million despite attempts to encourage take-up of subsidies that averaged $11,494.
Local authorities in Ottawa had claimed severe economic losses from a month-long truckers’ blockade outside Parliament. “I can tell you from my vantage point they were very significant,” Michel Tremblay, CEO of an economic development group Invest Ottawa, testified March 14 at the Commons finance committee.
Invest Ottawa cited a March 11 story by CBC News that claimed the blockade “cost downtown Ottawa millions per day” based on estimates from retail analysts. “Total economic damage may range from about $44 million up to $200 million,” claimed the CBC.
Payouts were a fraction of the figure. The Development Agency had offered to pay businesses “directly and negatively impacted by the demonstrations” for any losses including “utilities, insurance, bank charges, loss of inventory (e.g. spoiled food), wages, rent and other extraordinary costs related to the repair or protection of a business due to the demonstrations,” according to terms of compensation.
Access To Information records showed the extraordinary lengths taken to make payouts as high as possible. The final figure came 36 percent under budget.
The Development Agency first extended a deadline for applications from April 30 to May 15. “They have extended the application deadline by a couple of weeks,” wrote staff.
Organizers were then instructed to “go door to door to boost awareness and increase applications from business owners.” Businesses whose applications were rejected received personal phone calls with unsolicited help on how to fill out forms. “The team is reaching out by telephone to these applicants to move their file along as a deficiency in their application was noted,” wrote staff.

So, I went looking for the hashtag #trudeaumustgo to see how many times it's been used. About 24 hours ago it was used 150,000 times. When I tried to check how many times it was used yesterday, I was seeing the update that it was used 2000-3000 times in the last hour. I thought that was exciting. Last time I checked, it was used 8000 times in the last hour! Turns out it's been used 500,000 times as of about 2 hours ago and now Twitter has REMOVED THE HASHTAG from the Trending margin. I couldn't find it anywhere I looked. I'm not sure if Trudeau had it removed or not but this is what grass roots revolutions look like and this is certainly how Authoritarians would handle a grass roots revolution. I'd encourage you all to check out the #trudeaumustgo hashtag and SEE FOR YOURSELVES what Canadians are posting about themselves and their families under that hashtag. Mind you, that's 500,000 #trudeaumustgo hashtags just for that one phrase. There are many others trending as well. There are literally MILLIONS of people posting negative hashtags about Trudeau. It's a sobering shot of reality after 2 years of a lies and illusions being pushed by the government through a media that was bought. I can only wonder (and hope) that this will continue to gain ground and form another protest by the common people who are fed up with the lies. This is exciting to see happen in real time.
