No, it is the right thread. I was simply assisting by offering a possible medical explanation for the arrogance of the reply by the member you are referencing.

I figured that anyone with common sense understood the nature of my comment.
I understood your post the way you intended it. I was trying to correct the often incorrect perception that Canada doesn't have guns (not aimed at you, just a general correction for the public).
To clarify, I knew you understood my post. It was a dig at those who did not understand it.

The culprit may be a Viral inflammation, compromising synapsis during the meiotic prophase, inhibiting serotonin reuptake. Darn! I accidently did it again. I made a virous reference. I apologize. Wrong thread. It's starting to feel on this forum like there are a couple of buzzing bees in the background trying to set snares on the forum. How do I know? Because buzzing bees used to communicate with me for the same purpose. I'm never interested in setting snares, though. I only care about good conversation, getting to the truth and of course consequences if people are wrong. Bees are great, and our friends. It is the Wasps you have to be concerned with. But, you can't trap a Wasp with a Snare.

BTW...why are 32 people all of a sudden viewing? Anybody? Someone held this marketing class from prison about 2000 years ago. It was a real barn burner and this was the lesson: Philippians 1. 15. It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The latter do so in love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. 17. The former, however, preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can add to the distress of my chains. 18. What then is the issue? Just this: that in every way, whether by false motives or true, Christ is preached. And in this I rejoice.

For those who haven't heard yet, there is a large battle happening.
Jordan Peterson, a well known clinical psychologist, intellectual and social media personality is being challenged by his professional governing body.
This is all over news in Canada.

This is weird even for Canuckistan; he's in need of re-edjumication?? If you read the Op-Ed, he goes into detail. It's a good read. Quite frankly, this is what happens when you go against the establishment. The establishment is like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They started building it before anyone really realized the breadth of it. DC is trying to play catch up but its faltering. They need to get their act together and sort their shizzle out as they're missing out big time. They're trying to destroy Musk, Peterson, Trump and ANYONE else who goes against them. If people think something else is going on (like Musk is a bad car salesman or that Joe Rogan is a bad comedian) they're ignorant. This is clearly now a concerted attack on anything that will oppose the Liberal let establishment. And if you hold an opinion that opposes it and you're powerful enough to actually affect them, you're going down to the best of their ability.

Can't access any op-ed because Twitter messes up my preferred computer as I've mentioned. If you want to post a link to a standard article, I'm happy to read it.

Is anyone else having trouble with Twitter links I'm posting because I find them to work for me without any problems and are very efficient at sharing information. And why pass up an opportunity to further evangelize when someone has expressed genuine interest?
And - most importantly - why pass up the opportunity to put the best possible info. forward?
It's why you do this, right?
Sorry you're having trouble. Is anyone else having trouble with Twitter links I'm posting because I find them to work for me without any problems and are very efficient at sharing information. As previously noted, more than 2 Twitter posts per page screw up my preferred computer. Here is a link to the National Post article (a national Canadian newspaper) Jordan Peterson: I will risk my licence to escape social media re-education The Ontario College of Psychologists wants to retrain me to behave properly — and this should concern everyone Thank you.
The reason I was so curious about this guy is that on the face of it, this looks outrageous.
But I note that while he references his alleged misdeeds in passing several times in the piece you've posted, he does NOT share the ACTUAL content of ANY of these allegedly outrageous communications.
I find that supes suspect, and wonder if there is, in fact, a great deal more to this story he isn't telling.

I find that supes suspect, and wonder if there is, in fact, a great deal more to this story he isn't telling. He has stated to make every communication in his battle transparent and on the internet (particularly on Twitter where open dialogue is happening in much greater measure than any other social media site) the grievances have been made public and are being discussed. ---------------------------------- Side note: Not to inflate myself or to make it sound like I'm Jordan Peterson, but I think this parallel is worth fleshing out as it's what has happened on the CGC forums. We had hoards of people opposed to me and others but they used the secretive, anonymous "notify moderator" button to notify mods of my "infractions", and moderation got so annoyed at the constant notifications that they banned me from the Watercooler. It wasn't that I was doing anything so offensive, as I was doing things other people were doing. It was only that enough people were notifying on my posts that by magnifying my posts they convinced moderation that I was a trouble-maker. The liars and intellectually dishonest, like namisgr and tth2 weren't the trouble makers. The people trying to oppose their lies were. And in every instance, where I was able to appeal to transparency (like my offering to post PM conversations between people who said I PMd things I did not do) their opposition disappeared like vapor in the sun once threatened with transparency. -------------------------------------- Back to Jordan, and the reason I'm going on this tangent is that this seems to be the exact pattern being used to suppress dissent and opposition EVERYWHERE. Mostly by cowardly, Liberal types. The anonymous, complaining mob successfully quashes dissent without any public, transparent, logical or reasonable discussion. It's a cowardly way to suppress opposition and completely against all we've learned about freedom of speech, democracy and public discussion to get to the truth. I applaud his resolve to put his money where is mouth is and to make this public and transparent for all to see, to eliminate sabotage in the shadows. If I had my way, I'd do the same with all the cowardly boardies who did the same on the CGC forum to me and others. If you want me to share some links to the current dialogue I can. He's basically being grilled for making political comments and crude jokes (which was actually good satire to make a point) and affecting the reputation of the College of Psychologists. In short, because he's in the political minority they have the power to punish him for his position. We all know that if he was in lockstep with the Liberal "majority" or more correctly in favor with the Social Media narrative that he'd be fine. Just like on the CGC forums.
