There is so much going on right now with Thor and Loki, in the movies, and TV, with a large portion of it being drawn directly from Walt Simonson's run.
So this thread is here to celebrate, inform, and generally enjoy all things Thor...#337 to #382.

Top of the list right now, is the new Loki series coming out. I'm still curious as to what characters will fill the roster. IMDB isn't giving away much so far, other than what was shown in the preview. ![]() |

So lets start at the beginning, and Beta Ray Bill is looking to appear in phase 4 of MCU with Thor. And Walt's first creation in Thor will surely make a sizeable impact with those not already familiar with the character. Here's the frame by frame analysis put together on the video's out so far. It's a long winded explanation of Bill coming into the MCU, but that's everything so far... As a nudge to my alter ego on the CGC forums, here's a few Canadian version's, and a not often seen Mark Jewelers copy.    |

If you weren't buying those books off the newsstand at the time it's hard to explain how big of a deal it was. The art and stories were ground breaking. Thor being replaced? Unconscionable at the time.
The art was jumping off the page. There was an expansion happening in comics that was exciting and almost the opposite of what is happening now with comics struggling.
I'm going to show off a bit. Had this book graded a couple of years ago. It's long gone now.
