I think I fall into the camp that believes a print defect shouldn’t downgrade a book. For me it’s one of the areas that subjectivity of grading can be reduced if the focus is more on structure than eye appeal.  |

The Eternals #12Print Error - ink smear/smudge Books without the error do exist. I would guess the percentage with the error is around 50% or more based on my research. CGC Grading: Unknown. I have a question posted in the Grading area. Grade deduction for ink smear?

Fantastic Four #53Printing Error - Missing Ink I've never seen this type of error before, but I'm including it here for reference. Check your copy if you have one. This copy has a blank inside back cover with missing (or low ink) areas on the inside front cover. Odd.

I’ve seen/heard of books with extra wraps or wraps from another title inserted, but never two complete books.

I’ve seen/heard of books with extra wraps or wraps from another title inserted, but never two complete books. If you've seen the Saddle Stitching Machine operate, you can see how it might happen, but I've never seen this defect before either. |

I’ve never seen one except for a couple YouTube vids, and those were more ads for printing services than really showing a detailed process. |
