Saying these things would get you banned, or nearly banned, on almost every "comic book message board" that exists. He speaks my language.

It's the antithesis of the usual video blog post - fast paced, well-produced, articulate and very funny.

That was a waste of 10 minutes for a comic veteran like me Does he have a counterpoint video for this one? Sure 90s comics won't put you through college, but some of the best series in comics history came out in the 90s. I can name at least 20 titles from the 90s that aren't worth money but are classics worth reading.

I wasn't a big fan of the 90's either. I stopped buying comics in the early/mid 90's, started again with Heroes Reborn in 1996 and then after Perez left Avengers in 2000 I rarely bought any new comics since.

I lost interest in comics by the 90's, thinking maybe I had "outgrown" them. I remember occasionally picking up FF and 2099-related titles, but I've gone back and read quite a bit from that decade, and as Stucifer mentioned, there's good stuff to be had.

I was looking at this crap and I thought that's pretty effing sneaky of DC to call that TPB a "graphic novel". This book is not a graphic novel. But then I went to Diamond's site and they list the top 100 "graphic novels": www.previewsworld.com/Article/228893-Exclusive-Marchs-Top-100-Best-Selling-Graphic-NovelsAre comic nerds so insecure that they need to mislabel items to make themselves feel better/smarter? Because graphic novel sounds better than trade paperback? I know some collectors call themselves OCD because they are too insecure/immature to use anal retentive, but this isn't the same. Or is marketing, and all the publishers are trying to redefine hobby definitions without consulting the fans (ala CGC)? Either way it bugs the out of me for no good reason
