It has to be the most stupid decision my country has ever made. Thanks to all you lazy bastards who didn't get off your arses to vote. Apparently, most people didn't even understand what they were voting for, which is nothing new here either. That's true to a degree. Most of us knew what the vote was for but the information presented by both sides was flawed. For example, the amount the UK would "save" by not paying to be in the EU was not accurately weighed up against how much we'd lose without membership. As is always, those who wanted change went out to vote and the complacent majority stayed at home thinking they were safe.
It's quite obvious that the majority of the country want to remain in the EU but how many of them bothered to vote? 72%. The margin was just under 4%. You lazy gits... 4%! How much effort have the protesters put in with their marches when they could have achieved so much more with a simple visit to the polling station? It's too late now. You've made your decision; you have to live with it. Thanks for ruining my country.

Australian Senator Fraser Anning Throws Punches After Teenager Smashes Egg On Head I love this quote from the NYTimes: "On Saturday, people were donating funds online to cover the teenager’s legal fees, the ABC reported, and to help him buy “more eggs.”"

You could tell he wasn't expecting a southpaw.

We watched Fahrenheit 11/9 today. Anyone else see it? I won't watch anything by Michael Moore. I don't trust anything he presents because I don't think he's capable of being objective.

That has been proven. Though I do support his Right to continue building his wealth in any manner he chooses, as long as it is legal. If somebody wants to form their own opinion based on his money traps/politics porn theater, that is on them.

There's an objective political documentary maker out there? Give me some of your recommendations/names, Yo and I are always open to learning more. I don't mind people not being objective if they've got the facts to back it up.

To the surprise of no one, Beto O’Rourke announced he was running for President yesterday. This hand-waving candidate has described himself as a skater growing up in the 'punk scene.' Skaters were quick to object...nicknaming him 'Tight Trunks Beto.' Damnit, I started typing my reply, hit backspace, lost the first paragraph. 2 eff ups in a row. .I'll add my thoughts on #BetOnMyStork and his complete lack of policy substance...as well as the fact that he is NOT disclosing the amount of donations (and the average dollar donation) he received within 24 hours of his 2020 campaign announcement. Based on that, I think it is pretty safe to say that he got big money bundling out the wazoo, a couple hundred grand above Bernie Sanders' small dollar donations of 5.9 million, within the first 24 hours of his 2020 announcement.....because Dem establishment has, at lest for now, picked Beto as their shill/stooge. That said, this video is a good breakdown on Beto:

Yes, some documentarians can stay fairly objective without poisoning the well of credibility. The Circus is pretty good. They lean left, but they still manage to stay fairly objective and present the facts. They also admit when they're wrong, such as when Trump won and they realized the polls weren't a true gauge of the national attitude. And for the record, I know a ton of Democrats who can't stand Michael Moore because he's a hack (He's embarrassing to them, and dilutes the message: climate change, etc.).

I was going to say I'll check it out but I see it's actually a TV show on Showtime. I don't have Showtime and I don't see it on Netflix. Any other way to watch it?

Hulu has it with a free trial I think. I'm not sure about that though.

I'll put it on the To Watch Someday list Yo just made a good point.... Shameless from Showtime is on Netflix so maybe this show will migrate there eventually.
