Apple cider vinegar. At least here in the States it's touted as the greatest thing ever; for cooking, cleaning, bug repellent, topical medicinal uses for skin & hair. Don't know what's being done in the picture specifically, maybe treating athletes foot or soothing blisters or something. I don't have a bottle anywhere in the house.

Supposedly it does an exfoliation of the callus on the bottom of your feet. Either that or they have stinky feet. www.standardmedia.co.ke/evewoman/article/2001301125/five-benefits-of-soaking-your-feet-in-apple-cider-vinegar

It's the rest of me that would probably benefit from a good soaking.

From an advert at the bottom of the page. What the hell are they pouring on their feet?! I think they're reenacting the jellyfish scene from 'Friends.'

Alright I'm just going to post random e. History time. They say the old foundation in our yard was a bar/brothel back in the day. The DAR plaque bolted to a big rock in our front yard proves it! I will kick you in the nuts!

That is way cool! I've lived in some neighborhoods where folks were "entertained", but not so sure my trying to sponsor a plaque highlighting that would be well received by City Council nowadays. Interesting how perspective changes, huh?

Interesting how perspective changes, huh? We're just a small farming town where nothing happens. When Washington or Lafayette or Rochambeau walk through the town you celebrate it! In fact down the road in Willimantic they've adopted 3 frogs as the town logo/symbol. Why? Because they're a bunch of cowards! www.newenglandhistoricalsociety.com/the-great-windham-frog-fight-1754/We took a metal detector to the stone wall/foundation, but only found some old horseshoes.

That's a good story. Gives an area it's character and flavor. Also neat to be immortalized in a Zippy cartoon.

My hometown has had a Zip's Diner for 50+ years so that helps. I remember posting some real Zippy places here before when we used to go bowling at the Giant Pin lanes. These are some local places, if you go to this link you can see pictures of them taken by Bill. www.zippythepinhead.com/pages/aazipreal.htmlFrog Bridge, Willimantic CT: Bill Griffith Top Dog hot dog stand, Portland CT: Bill Griffith Modern Diner, Pawtucket RI: Bill Griffith O'Rourke's Diner, Middletown CT: Bill Griffith Zip's Diner, Dayville CT: Bill Griffith Town Diner, Watertown MA: Muffler Man, Surplus Unlimited, Norwich CT: Diane Noomin Big Bowling Pin, Norwich Ten Pin Bowl, Norwich CT: Bill Griffith Boulevard Diner, Worcester MA:
