Scott Free and Big Barda? Bingo! That first panel makes sense knowing that. It was because of Big Barda that Jack Kirby once gave Mike a stern lecturing. Mike once tried to make her look more feminine by altering her face a bit (surprising since that isn't his style) and JK said, "Never. Change. The faces." And he never again did. Memories of Colletta must have flashed through Kirby's mind. I think The reason he tried to make the alterations is because he's very good at drawing the female body, in fact I think that's what he's best at. |

Is it either B&B 128 or 138? Weren't those both penciled by Aparo? I dunno. They're the only 2 B&B I know of with Mister Miracle. |
