Right, but I play billiards left handed. And I'm left footed.I'm told I was forced to be right handed when I was young. If that never happened I wonder if I'd still be able to draw. Nope... that's what happens when you drink Diet Dr Pepper. I just gotta know how you came up with that theory  |

Nope... that's what happens when you drink Diet Dr Pepper. I just gotta know how you came up with that theory  I think I mentioned it here before... but I do appreciate I talk a lot of crap and tend to forget what I said and where.
My friends and I came up with this theory at college... Left handed people drink Dr Pepper. We did a "study" to work out whether:-
A) Left handed people are genetically predisposed to like Dr Pepper, or B) Drinking Dr Pepper makes you left handed.
It started when we noticed several left handed friends/acquaintances liked drinking Dr Pepper, usually in preference to other more popular soft drinks.
Now, logic dictates that A) would be more feasible than B), would it not? However, the "interviews" we conducted with the group unearthed some interesting information. These reprobates had been drinking Dr Pepper since they were toddlers and therefore we came to the conclusion that drinking Dr Pepper will turn you left handed. We put this down to it triggering a recessive left handed gene.
Science at its best. Move over Einstein.

I consider myself ambidextrous. I can only write with my right hand, but in almost everything else, both are equal. For instance, I shoot golf with my right, but shoot hockey with my left.

Left handed people are great and are also very good looking.(and humble.Beautifully humble)By coincidence I happen to be left handed.I do love Dr Pepper,but that started as a teen.

Seeing as Dr Pepper is gross - and you "love" it - maybe there's some sort of psychic link between the left hand and the drink, which turns into a symbiotic relationship once the drink is first consumed.
Or maybe your mother drank too much DR P when she was carrying you. Oh, that's a good one... I like that. I think I'll follow it up.

Hmmm... My brother and I have had a Mountain Dew vs Dr Pepper battle since we were kids. What freaking flavor is Dr Pepper? 23 flavors? Pick one! I heard there's prunes in Dr Pepper. They also suggest drinking Dr Pepper warm. Are they frigging nuts? It tastes like crap cold, it must taste like hell warm. Here's the kicker tho Bats - my DP drinking brother is right handed, and I who never drinks DP am left handed. What say you? |

Ah, it's not an absolute. It just helps the evolution of left handedness. What we have to consider is there have always been left handed people... and Dr P was only introduced in 1885. If we could access a time machine and travel throughout the development of Man, I bet a penny to a pound we'd see a spike in lefties after 1885. Also, as with any drug, there will be some - like your brother - who are resistant. If you two could grab a flight over to the UK, I'd like to study you both further in my laboratory...
