I said "iirc" it was for a customer. It could have been your own, and the context of the statement wasn't even in a negative light. It had something to do with the reversion being unexpected and had to be dealt with before an upcoming show. That said, I will be SO embarrassed if it was a CBCS presser

In fairness, I edited the post for now while I'm looking, btw. I did read it somewhere within the last month, but don't believe it being a new post/discussion, so it could be anywhere, and yes, I admit it could have been someone else. It'd be funny if it was RMA. That would take being "way off base" to galactic levels The point was reversion or whatever it's called happens and it would suck if that happens to his book, though he deserves it for the home press. But you know- someone has to think about the children books. No, children.

Possibly. For some reason it's in my head that you said it, and then that plus the video made me think of your convention pressing. That's actually where I was hoping the discussion would go. Post up a link to the (non-existent) supposed thread wherein a (non-existent) pressing client/customer of mine stated that a book that I pressed for for him/her had to be pressed again, and the (non-existent) qoute of this (non-existent) pressing client/customer of mine that stated such. Not a single book, that I pressed for a client/customer of mine, had any reversion problems. If I find it, I will. If I was mistaken who said it, I probably won't find it. I am finding some entertaining reading material during the search, though. Your childish attitude is a toss up between disgusting and laughable. The one that was [rightfully] poofed, but still applies? The one I posted after I read this? "I read somewhere" is bull . Whoever posted it, I did read it somewhere, so it isn't bull . That's libel But really, I was hoping the press/Con thing would come up. I've read about how you were/are doing this, and I've read some bits and pieces about pressing from people whose word I would trust, and unless I'm wrong, the time required to press a book (which I would assume includes using moisture or humidity) and allow it to cool seems longer than a convention day provides, and you were advertising $200 to do it. I don't know if you ever realized your fee or not. If any of that is incorrect, let me know, but I can understand if you'd prefer to avoid that. So perhaps it wasn't your post, but the guy in the video bringing up a home press made me think of your con press, and how I've often wondered about your process. I seem to recall a CGC thread, but I think that was a long time ago and I can't remember if it was informative or just inflammatory. I'm sure I'll find it. But if I'm wrong about the reversion post, I'm sorry. About the reversion post.

I bet the billing process went off without a hitch. As for the owner's press job- Sure, it looked better. Let it sit for a month or so and record it again. I read somewhere that CAK had a book (a customer's, iirc) that had a defect 'return', requiring another press. I hope that wasn't one of those $200 convention presses. I have to wonder if any of those (and any comic with similar treatment by anyone) are graded 9.8 or 9.6 through fast track , only to revert back to whatever. That has not happened. "I read somewhere" is bull .No, it isn't. You are. I bet the billing process went off without a hitch. As for the owner's press job- Sure, it looked better. Siggy's Tar Dust® This is a blatant lie i.e. libel. No, you're just not bright enough to remember what you say. You are Once again, it is ME who is wrong. ftfy Post up a link to the (non-existent) supposed thread wherein a (non-existent) pressing client/customer of mine stated that a book that I pressed for for him/her had to be pressed again, and the (non-existent) qoute of this (non-existent) pressing client/customer of mine that stated such. No need. Fiddy had me covered. But YOU post the thread where I said a customer said all those things. That's libel . What I said was, "I read somewhere that CAK had a book (a customer's, iirc) that had a defect 'return', requiring another press." And I was right, wasn't I? I never said they had it, and I never said they contacted you about it. You yourself emboldened these very words in the quote above, and a few posts later you invent your own "customer" scenario Jeez, you're dim. Not a single book, that I pressed for a client/customer of mine, had any reversion problems. LIAR! Oh wait, you said it was more than one, so I guess it's technically not a lie. Sorry. TWO of your customers books reverted and needed more work. Your childish attitude is a toss up between disgusting and laughable. Tell you what. I did post a naughty word (that still applies, btw), so we'll split the difference. I'll take the "disgusting", and you the "laughable". Thanks, Fiddy So there you have it Einstein. I appreciate you giving us yet another discussion to add to the archives. You actually had me questioning myself, "congrads[sic]". Is that why you use these denial tactics?
