If ever I could manage it. I'll have to start saving now, and get someone else to drive me there. I get lost every time I go to Big D. I can get around in Houston just fine, but Dallas confounds me.
They've got Tiger Army on Friday, Moonshine Bandits in August, and KMFDM on Oct 14 and The Lacs on the 28th. I need to move closer to Dallas.

Swing by. I'll kick in for gas. (Petrol, propellant, whatever.) Gas, you say...? Do I need to eat a lot of beans before driving?

I'm considering two shows. One is Rik Emmett in Natick Mass in December and the other is The Jelly Jam in Hartford in August.

I'm considering two shows. One is Rik Emmett in Natick Mass in December and the other is The Jelly Jam in Hartford in August. Forgot about this. I'd never heard of The Jelly Jam until this post. Listened through the "Profit" album and rather liked it. It's definitely a modern sound, but with classic rock roots. "Care" is pretty cool, and I like "Mr. Man" which sounds a bit like a 90's grunge band grown up with a bit of a Mike Patton-type spin going on as well. Lots of influences going on with this album. Only song that I was disappointed with was "Permanent Hold". Just too much noodling going on, and didn't seem to fit with the rest of the album imo. Thanks for the heads up on this group.

You're very welcome. One of the great things about them is that each of their four albums sounds different. I'm most fond of their first album. Here's a few samples

What can I say...? It was f**king awesome! Nearly 2 hours of live Maiden! We were lucky enough to get standing tickets and were about 30ft from the front. Had an excellent view for most of it.
Excuse the crappy pic...
Highlights:
The Trooper Hallowed Be Thy Name
Minor grumble: Run to the Hills (Bruce seemed to struggle with this song)
